i was feeling fine to drive about day 5 but my insurance didnt cover me til day 7 so i didnt drive til day 8. deffo check with your insurance company about any restrictions cause it may not be valid straight after having an operation. x
deffo do it cause its not worth risking it! i told them the truth about my operation just saying i’d had cosmetic surgery on my breasts and wanted to check if this altered my policy in any way. they asked how long the operation was and how long i stayed in hospital and thats it. they said it wouldnt be valid for 7 days after the operation but they didnt make a big deal about it or anything lol. i was fine driving when i went back to work 8 days post op. the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was getting my car into 5th gear but its always abit stiff in my car anyway so i was just careful. everyone is different, you’ll know in yourself weather or not you’ll be able to drive depending on how your feeling x

yeh ive got 6 weeks off work but im goin back to my mums for most of that time which is a 2hr drive away, but will av to go back home after week for check up with nurse so was just checking how long it took for most people to get back in the driving seat! x
