How long??

How long do you have to sleep sat up for, and why? Xx

I literally did for 2 nights and that was it! I couldn’t handle it! I slept with 4 pillows so I was a bit upright but stil more laid down! X

I did about 7 nights sat up huni and then slowly made my way down im now 2 weeks post op and im on my side x x

I was told to sleep upright for the first few day to minimise swelling, but I probably did it for about a week cos I tried lying down after they said and I had pain in my boobs which were worse than the pains in my back and bum I was getting from sitting propped up! So I started lying downon my back when it was the more comfortable option. Nearly 3 weeks PO and I’m still wary of lying on my side like I normally would. x

I’m 8 days post op.

I went into the spare bedroom last night were the single bed is next to the wall. I wedged pillows and V pillow inbetween the two wall and had

the best nights sleep in over a week. Still uprightish, but supported on both sides, especially my head. Yippee

Poor hubby, he’ll be sleeping alone in the King size for a while hehe

Haha fairho… Thanks girls I’m 7 days po today n I want to lie on my back tonight so just wondered if it was ok to. X
