Hey girls am 9 days post op, and still have my dressing on, and need my stiches trimmed, i know u would already have a booking to see a nurse with MYA, but as am in the Isle of man we have said it will be ok if my nurse does it at my doctors… Also when r u able to get it all wet is it 2weeks.? Help xx
Its normally 7-14 days after! and your wound cant get wet until you’ve had it checked by a nurse, I would make an appointment now x
i had stitches trimmed at 18 days (yes because mya messed up with app’s), and i still have stiches in now, and im 3.5 weeks, im going to my docs tomorrow to get them taken out fully, as over half are still there xx
i thought they were supposed to dissolve? still have at least one, do you think nearly 4 weeks p/o that is why i keep getting bruising on my left side and is incredibly itchy?
hi, i’m 4 weeks PO and still have 1 stitch left to dissolve, nurse said if not red and sore and not bothering me in anyway then it’s fine, all the rest had gone not long after my week check up , going to see the nurse again on 25th so may be she will take it out then.
Hiya I had ba and nipple lift and had dissolvable stitches had to have them trimmed .., my nurse advised 2 weeks no shower but could be because I had more stiches ..but e longer there kept dry apparently the better
xxx
