Hi chic. I booked 7 days off and had the wknd swell. Then went back to work for 2 days had the wknd and went another day. I am now on sick leave for the rest of the week as my boobs were hurting I was drained and my boobs were swollen. I didn’t plan on going sick but it takes it out of you. Good luck. Xx

I’ve taken 3 weeks off my job as a carer in an old folks home but I’ve only taken 2 weeks off my job as a practice nurse. Totally depends on how demanding your job is, some lassies have taken a week off and been fine to go back to work x

I took a week off cos i didnt have enough days off for more, should have gone as sick really cos going back so soon was awful. If i was doing it again i’d defo take two weeks off xx

    Menu

Yeah i took 2 weeks off (sick/recovery time) and MYA provided me with a letter for my work saying that it is advised to take 14 days off work and it doesnt say what type of surgery you have and they even gave me a copy without the letter head too so my boss cant snoop too much lol so i got full pay too. :) i would defo advise taking at least 2 weeks off. If i had holiday i would have taken 3 weeks off. Last week was my first week back to work and it was hard! i was so tired and boobies we super sensitive still.

Fingers crossed.. Im a Midwife so lots of bending stetching ect especially during pool deliveries so 4 weeks for me.. x

I went back exactly a week after my op

I could have gone back 4 days after my op.

I went back to uni day 6.

I work at customer service for tesco.

Doesn’t sound demanding but it is there is a lot of carrying and reaching and running round the store!

Everyone is totally different I had unders so should ‘texhnically’ be worse as its a more

    Abrasive procedure than overs!

But I think I could be the luckiest girl on here xxx
