I want to know this as I’m booked in for lift and ba! I think it might be nothing for two weeks before and two weeks after? Xx

    Menu

not sure for a lift but for the ba the “recommend” two week pre and post but only insist on no drinking 48 hours prior and post surgery.

The sugar content can also predispose you to infection when your wounds are fresh too as bacteria love an environment that is warm and wet, add sugar into the mix and its heaven for them. The area where your scars are is likely to be warm and damp at times so you dont want to make it worse by eating or drinking high sugar things cos it will raise the sugar levels in your blood and make you very appealing to the nasty bugs!!!
