ive booked a week off work for my operation, im worried this will not be enough, i was advised as i work in admin a week would be long enough… how long did everyone take before re-turning back to work?
Hey i have a really physical job. I had 18 days off then back to full duties. I was fine. I had unders from completely flat!
Just make sure u rest loads and sleep loads in ur week off. U should be fine, ul just get tired easily xxx
hi, i work in a call center (so not strenuous at all) work allowed me 2 weeks off sick at the advice of the surgeon, but i could have easily returned after 1 week. you will be fine providing you are not doing anything strenuous xxx
I also work in admin and I couldn’t have gone back after just 1 week x
i might save some more holiday and book if needs be or get a sick note for a few extra days. my job doesnt course me any hard lifting or continuous movement so i think maybe a week would be enough.
I went back 7 days po had unders but I’m a travel agent so sat on my ass all day anyway
x
I work in care my job is quite physical ive had 4 weeks off i will be returning to work next week x
i think a week will be long enough as i sit on my ass to lol

I have 4 weeks holidays booked off after my surgey . But i am a Midwife so quite a strenuous job. xx
4 weeks is probably a good amount of time as your job is constantly on the go where as with mine i just sit on my ass all day lol, most lifting i do is carrying tea to my desk lol. my op is the 21st Oct lexie. i think i will stick with 460 unders aswel as im a small B now xx
I booked off 2 weeks and my boss phoned me yesterday and told me to take another week off I’m a hair designer in a busy salon and my boss thinks I will be better having the extra week so now need to go on the sick. Xx
yeah if ur a hairdresser then ur constantly using ur hands and that could cause irratation so another week could do the world of good. my job just involves me sitting at a desk so i should be fine after a week. have u had ur op then? xx
Thankfully i have 8 weeks a year holiday.. and as im only having surgery in March i am using 2 weeks this holiday entitlement and 2 nxt years which starts in April..
