Hi .. I worked as a Carer as a secondary job ..yr not lifting all day but u must be careful it’s still awkward at times and u will be bending over a lot possibly putting stress on yr nose .. u’ve had a big op so be careful u don’t take a blow to the nose area . . good luck xx

Hi hon, I wouldn’t expect too much of yourself, you will have the blues for a few days, you will also be swollen and may not feel able to lift at all. I know my sleep was badly affected.

I took two weeks off work, but them my boss wanted holiday so I worked from home the second week, which was fine… Mind you I’m office based!

Hope it all goes well for you x

I took about two weeks off. I found it very hard in the first few weeks as my breathing was hugely affected. Good luck xx

heyy im a carer i tooka month off haha no way was i risking hitting my nose esp when i use the hoist in every bloody house! plus i had problems with my heart. u might think 8 days is ok as i fort id be going back after a week but its completly different when that cast comes off so you might feel you need longer x
