How long do u need off from work after surgery??

I am having a BA on the 2nd of March…eeeeekkkkk!!! Was just wondering how long do u need to take time off work? The job isnt physical at all though! xx

I had Ba/uplift 13 days ago and booked two weeks off work, which my surgeon said was plenty of time. I booked longer because I had uplift and needed plenty of time to rest and for my wounds to heal. It you’re just having BA and your job isn’t all that strenuous, I reckon one week, but go by the advice of your surgeon honey xxx

I’d say you need to take at least a week with unders, maybe more as they can be so achy and even typing makes it worse. Overs tend to heal quicker and you don’t have the same muscle pain so a week would probably be plenty.

I had overs and took a week off, though I could have gone back after 4/5 days. I know unders take longer though. Xxx
