Hi ladies,
I’m having my op on the 7th March with Mr Traynor in Preston.
I just wonder if you knew how long he made you stay after the op.
Just so I can get an idea of the day.
Gem x
I was admitted at 11 op at 12.30 and left the hospital at 5.45pm
They are happy for you to go when you have been to the loo, had a drink and eaten and your obs are ok.
Thanks Louise. I wasn’t sure if there was a certain amount of time you had to stay.
I could have easily stayed another hour as I was drowsy. Mr traynor came in at about 5ish (just poked his head through door) and asked if i was ok. He came in at about 3ish also and spoke to me but i dont remember much. I was home by 6.45.
Hi hun. I was admitted at 2pm yesterday. Went down for my op and 4.45 and was sent home at 9.15. It was a long day for me but it flew. Cannot sleep though! Xxx
Thanks Hannah.
Hope you are feeling ok after you’re op and managed to get some sleep x
They told me I had to stay for 4 hours after my op x
Hi hun. I’m very sore today. It’s not been 24 hours yet either so I am guessing it’s going to get worse. Had about 2 hours sleep so will try and sleep more today. One of my boobs is hurting more than the other one and my arms and ribs are hurting. Sure it will all be worth it though. Xxxx
I’m also at Preston on the 7th March @gemmasawyer ! Only 2 weeks to go, very exciting lol x
Hi Louise,
I’m so excited! Can’t wait!
What are you having?
X
Hey my admission time was 3pm yesterday but I didn’t have my op till about 7:50, they the. Said it was too late for me to go so I stayed in over night. I slept well, the nurses were lovely I couldn’t of faulted anything apart from it being such a long day and obviously no food or water, I felt dreadful by the time i went down for my op. I feel like it’s all happened in a flash. I’m very achey too il be glad when the next few days are over 🙂 xx
Sorry @gemmasawyer I’ve only just seen your reply lol. I’m having 325cc HP unders. I’m not feeling nervous at all yet, just excited. I’m just hoping the recovery isn’t too rough. What about you? X
