    Hiiii,

I was just wondering if they are really strict about wearing the bras cos im hoping to get mine done ASAP and my sister is getting married in June and im a bridemaid and i really dont think a sports bra would look all that flattering with a one shoulder dress lool.

Is it a must or could i have a day off from the ugly thing?

they usually say 6 weeks post op – i’ll defo be leavin mine on – dnt wanna take any risks… but if your gettin it done in the next month or so u should be fine for your sister’s wedding…

i went for my 1st consultation in beginning of feb and im in next week, so if you want it done asap they should be able to fit you in if u can be flexible

Hey my surgeon Dr Adamo says you dont need a sports bra at all!!! I bought one anyway, just in case, difficult to guess size though!

I’ve heard that Mr Adamo specifically doesn’t insist that his clients wear a sports bra but most other surgeons do – however I have heard that properly supporting the new breast will help prevent something called ‘bottoming out’, which is when the weight of the implant isn’t supported properly by the tissue / muscle around it, and it starts to travel downwards beneath your actual breast.. which can result in a particularly unpleasant shape.

I’m sure for just one day you will be fine however I would recommend doing as much as you can to support your new boobies!

fifix, it depends, there is no way i could have spent the day in a wired bra ot no bra at 4 weeks but by 6 weeks I had healed enough that I can.

Summer I woulod think you’d be fine at 8 weeks but it does depend on your body and healing, some girls are still dropping at 8 weeks so aren’t able to wear wired bras yet.

Hey hun. I’m 4 weeks post op and I have a break fromthe sports bra for a few hours a day. The nurse said 24/7 for 6 weeks, but in the instructions I got after my BA from Mr. Kazazzi the sheet said that after 2 weeks you can take your bra off for several hours but you must wear it to sleep. I wear it all day while I’m out and all night in bed, just when I’m watching telly in the evening I take it off. Hope this helps x x

I had unders with Mr Traynor and hes told me not to wear a sports bra at all!!! and just go free for 6 weeks. I just depends on what type of implant u get and how big it is. x

I asked my surgeon how important this is yesterday – he said it’s mainly for comfort and it’s not essential to wear it 24/7. xx
