how long does it take to be back to normal again after the op?

getting a ba on friday and my partner is having to take time off work to help out with the kids, was wondering how long he should take off? hes booked 10 days but am i going to be back to normal by then or will it take longer? im clueless! our youngest is 10 months so needs picking up etc a lot thanks in advance

well i went back to work after 2 weeks xx

I have an 18month old and I was able to pick him up by day 4 , day 2 was the hardest I needed the most help and day 3 I just stayed in brought the little boy new toys etc to keep him busy as I new we were going to stay in until I could lift him properly like I say which was by day 4 and I was driving then too xxx

It varies honey we all heal at different rates,I was back in work after 2 weeks,but I had overs,I could have gone back after a week but I booked holidays,didnt want to take more time off for post op appointments,so got them out of the way whilst I was off work,double check on the driving,Im sure when having surgery your insurance may be void for 7 days due to the medication and effects of the anaesthetic,xxx
