How long for infection to heal????

Hi got infection under right boob and thought it was better were nurse put new bandage etc on Wednesday I told dressing off today wiped it ll over as told with surgical spirit didn’t look to bad then started bleeding? Is this normal and mean te infection healing? And nearly 6 week post op do u think I could have a dumbed if I leave a vest top on over boobs,??? Xx
