How long have you had your BA???

with a cohesive gel implant there isnt really a chance of leaking. if the implant shell broke you probably wouldnt even notice. x

I had my first implants 7 years ago (i was 22) and have never had any problems with them touch wood, i’m only looking into having another BA as i would like them slightly bigger x

i had my first implants 7 yrs ago, and i would say after about 3 or 4 yrs they felt just like real boobs!! i DID however suffer a rupture, thats why i’ve just had to have a re-op, but like the other girls said, its extremely rare, so dnt worry yourself unnecessarily xx

the best thing you can do is write down all of your questions. however, dont expect too much, if its your first consultation you may only meet with a patient coordinator, and theres only a certain amount of information they can give you.x

the answers to those questions completely depend on your own body and where your surgeon places your implants. not really something someone else can answer.

oh some more questions, how long does it take for the silicone to get softer like real breast?
and how long can you do normal stuffs like carrying lugguages (since i have to travel a lot) ?

im worried now as one girls implant broke in half during a mammogram! thats put me off having one done, althou they are important to have.

to be honest i dont know what would make your implants break as mine havent… and i dont know anyone’s who have. x

you seem really wurried about the implants breaking lol. i assume they would only break with hugh damage like maby a car crash or something.. try not to wurry so much i know its a hugh desision but thousands of woman a year have a b.a xx

errrm i think theres a really small risk of them breaking. you might have to get it removed… you might not even notice though.

but if it breaks, would it effect anything? do i have to get it removed? and is it easy to break? x

hiya, i’m just wondering about the long-term effect of BA,
and so i’d like to ask girls here how long have they had their ba done for?
and what effect would it be in long term? anybody here had theirs done for over 5-10 years?
i’ve heard about the stories of silicone leakage and causing the breast to form solid lumps and result in breast cancer!?

anyone has any comments and advice?

but i’m still wondering about the long term effect, like would it be stiffer if we grow quite old?
oh and how long after the ba until our breasts get soft like real breasts? we have to massage them right? how long for?

i dont think there is a possibility of leakage as it isnt liquid… if you get a gummy bear sweet or a jelly baby and bite it in half and touch it thats KIND of what it is like,, i think lol x

lol yeah. theyre nice and soft too theyre some of the best implants you can have i think. x

yehh thats the one that i want the jelly baby ones lol i seen a video of a surgeon prodding and poking the implant and then he cut it in half with a knife and nothing leaked out!! so thats looks good haha. thanks very much xx

its cohesive silicone gel… so both really. the best way to describe it is like a jelly baby… or wine gum. Its soft silicone gel in a strong silicone capsule… if that makes sense.

Hiya, ive only had my boobs for a year or so but one thing i can tell you is that silicone leakage cannot cause breast cancer. Cancer is abnormal cell production/multiplication and cant be caused by silicone.
