how long is the pain afterthe op?

im interested in getting a BA i just dont know how long the pain will last for after wards? x

everyone is different. i am two weeks post op and now feel most of my discomfort when i first get up in the morning. the pain was quite bad for the first few days but it gets easier and the pain killers really help. just take things easy and you will be fine xx

Yeh I agree with penny jane that everyone differs. I would say the first 4 days can be quite bad (when i say bas its not terrible), and then after about 7 days you’re back to normal and can do most things and will get the occasional pain perhaps if you lay funny or over do it. It’s only minor discomfort, nothing to worry about!

Yes everyone is different hun, i had 410 overs and i had no pain at all, just felt a little tender thats all. I took painkillers for about 2 days after op ( and that was only because i was paranoid about getting any pain) and not because i was in pain. I didnt really take any after that as i really didnt feel the need. And they advised that i only need to take the painkillers when needed. So I have had a really good experience. But everyone is different xx

how long would you say before going back to work. i work at a call centre so im sat down all day xx

I would say take a week off to be safe in case you do feel any pain but I know for me personally, I could have easily gone back to work after about 4 days, especially if you’re sitting down

its not that bad at all… just mild discomfort.. im 4weeks post op and dont rli feel any pain at all and havent done for a while. But 2bh i would have described it as pain anyway even in the 1st few days after the op.. your just stiff and feel like uve done a really intense chest and ab workout x

same as u but people have told me to buy a d bra i want dd or e greedy lol

You know, it’s very individual, I had my op in poland and had to stay obligatory for two days. When they were signing me out after that time I felt nooo pain! only a little bit of discomfort – sth like the pressure in my chest, that’s all. but my friend had her ba done few months before me in the same Artplastica clinic. In her case the pain sustained 3-4 days. So as you can see everyone is different.

days 1-3 not good but more frustration of not being able to do stuff…and just feeling achy and useless. i had a shooting burning pain in one of them, but virtually no pain in the other. and all i have now is a bit of heaviness in the morning….but feeling great 19 days post op
from day 4 it gets better….from days 5 and 6 virtually back to normal
