HOW LONG SLEEPING UPRIGHT??????????

Hi ladies,

Just wondered how long i have 2 sleep in an upright position for. Im 12 days post op and the last 2 nights have found myself sleeping lower down the bed and on my side with a cusion under my boob area. Just wondering if that is ok or should i still be sleeping upright. B4 i naturally stayed upright cus suppose i had discomfort from having the ba but now i havnt got that discomfort anymore my body seems to find my natural sleeping postion. Any info or advice would be appreciated xx

hya em am the same the last two nights av slipped dwn my v pillow lol an bin compleatly flat on my back lol rrrrrr!! but i feel fine sleeping like that! i think they said to me after 2 weeks ull be ok to lower ur pillows! but cant remember wat she said about sleeping normal!! so if ant of uz girls no cd u inform us ha ha !! also em do u sleep with ur sports bra on or off?????? i dnt no if i shd leave mine on or off u c x

I have my ba next wednesday my nurse has told me to sleep up right for 7-10 nights. Hope this helps.

Ahh thanx jane, i had 10 days in my head but i dont trust my memory at the mo had 2 take alot in recently lol. Hi ya carla i sleep with it on cus it almost feels like a comfort blanket lol that my boobies are all safe and secure for the night. Also my nipples r soooooooooo sensitive at the mo so want them locked up in a bra if u know what i mean lol. xx

I was to mr adamo my surgeon couldnt believe how chilled and calm i was. I still cant believe ive got boobies yeah:swingin::clap::cheer::jumping:

Hi Girls

Im 4 weeks post op now, and i was the same, after about 10 days, i was sleeping on my side witha pillow under my boob.
I guess if it feels comfy, then its fine.

Any long term post op girls……when can you sleep on your belly…if ever???
I always used to sleep on my belly, and last night i woke my self up by trying to lay on my belly but it was obviously really uncomfortable…i thought i was going to pop them!
