How long till I can rove steri strips?

Had my post op check on Monday the tape was removed and steri strips placed over scars / nurse said can shower with them on etc but didn’t mention when I could remove them!? Do I just wait til they drop off?x

I was told to leave them on for 4 days then soak in the bath to peel them off but then other people been told different ring your nurse and ask her if you still don’t know x
