Hi all – had my BA on 1st April – will put my story on here when I am up to it.
I feel okay but am just surprised how little I can do since I got home last night.
Very tight/stiff but the worst is burning shooting pains in one of them. They also still rock hard….
Please can someone reassure me how long I have to suffer this…pain meds are helping a bit but not great and its making me tearful cos i feel so bloody useless.
x
Hi Leanne
Be patient the pain will ease and you will start to feel better soon. I stopped the meds after 3 days BIG MISTAKE 2 days later I was in agony and so tearful it was unbelievable I don’t think that we realise what a big shock it is going to be to our system. I am currently 9 days post op and still takin painkillers every 4 to 5 hours and the tears have stopped. I think that is down to the fact that my kids are back home with me however I am gettin really jelous of my hubby being my 9 mths old comforter especially whilst he is teething thats my job ha ha!!!! not missin the 5am get ups though.
Take care and don’t overdo it

Thanks Cheryl…patience was never my strong point!! I just didnt envisage it being like this and then the extra worry that they look awful and will they change…..

Thanks Joann, I am conscious I dont wanna be dead negative for the girls who havent had their ops yet…I’ve no regrets at all, I’m glad I did it, I just thought the hard bit would be the hospital and the op…not the recovery sitting at home on me ass

Anyway hope u girls are feeling better… xxx
Hi leanne! how did you find the whole experience?? XX
I’m 19 days post op and feeling normal pretty much. Only taking pain-killers if I get the shooting pains – this is a good sign as it indicates nerve regeneration. The bottom half of my boobs are still numb at times and feel a little weird. I’m past the emotional stuff now and just enjoying having lovely boobies. Mine have softened loads in the past few days and I am able to push them together now although not all of the way.
Hope you ladies feel tip top soon x
Hello !! First time i have been able to get ona pc since mine, had mine done on 31st march and seeing your comments im exactly the same !! I never realised how little I would be able to do and how much pain im in, although its wearing off and alot of the time its bearable certain movements feel like they are going to split open, or fall out or explode and it makes me feel sick lol ! Mine too are looking extremely rock solid, hard and pointy/coney shaped. I know its early stages but wanted to be reasured that they will eventually round up and drop slightly as I feel they are too big for my body at the moment ! I also had a hematosa or something , a few hours after my op my right boob was swollen and dr adamo had to take me back to theatre to drain the boob, apparently it happens to about 1 in 100 so not sure if this will delay recovery also “

hi Nat….yeah 1 in 100 is what they told the girl I was with….but she okay now…she just said the one that was affected with this was very bruised compared to the other one….
I’m day 5 now…my left one still giving me a bit of jip and I have backache but every day is an improvement….
the arnica also seems to give me heartburn which is a bit strange
hope you’re doing okay xx
Yeah dont think they can help it really, the one they drained is really bruised, literally black blue and yellow, but the pain isnt any harsher then the other one ! Was only meant to be daycase but ended up staying over night too, hadnt packed for it was so plesaed to get home ! Ive had back ache too but your right everyday is an improvement, Im day 6 now and they are looking less pointed and more rounded but still very swollen…I hope. What size did you go for ? The anti biotics and pain killers are doing funny stuff to my belly, I am sooo bloated its horrible and get cramps every few days too !!
I have wanted a boob job for years and now Ive had it cant believe Im moaning about it lol …xxxxx
Hi Nat, yeah am the same…I cam back from hospital 6lbs heavier…have lost 3lbs already but still look pregnant and fat, absolutely gutted but am told its normal and it wont subside till off painkillers and antibios….(finish these on thursday)
I have no bruising its weird.
I went 460 and 525 (to even me out) and am in an E at present. Got my first check up on Thursday xx
mine are still hard and in same place. i had my op on thursday 1st April. it doesn’t hurt as much but is uncomfortable when i’m in certain positions and i can definitely feel that they’re there when i stand up. feels like i’m carrying heavy weights round my chest….which i suppose i am haha. would feel a lot better if they would move and be a bit bouncy. How long before they will soften and be more natural? at the risk of repeating myself i had 300s under the muscle and was very flat chested before. my nipples are hard too so have to wear baggy tops. Mr Traynor advised no bra for 6 weeks.
hey penny jane, have u got any pics? how are you feeling? I had unders and had to wear a bra, 6 wks post op now and they are really soft!! xx
no i don’t have any pictures at the moment…should get it sorted really. how long did it take yours to get really soft, I’m getting a bit down about it to be honest xx I’m really glad you sound so pleased with the results though xx
