how long until you could lay flat?

hey just wondering how long it took until you girls could lay flat? My butt is killing me from sitting up all night…i sit on a pillow but still sore.

Awwwwwww bless hunni,but you have fantstic boobs,lol,thats a big big plus,the aches and pains will get less each day,I slept sat up for about 2 weeks lovely,some mornings I found I was almost flat when I woke up,lol,but my intention was to sleep upright for 2 weeks,lol,xxx

I have become at one with my new sofa it’s easier to get off from in the morning and can sleep upright better! X x

I was wondering the same! I have such a backache….girls am I meant to he sleeping completely upright? At the mo I am elevated by about 6 pillows so laying down but with my head and upper back elevated xx

I was just gonna ask this coz it only says for 48hrs on my hospital sheet n thought it was for much longer x

I did elevated for 10days then dropped my pillows slightly – I still sleep with two pillows and two V pillows every nite. One V pillo under my back so i can support my bobies if i rol over and one under my head xxxxx

okay thanks girls think i’ll try and sit on another bigger pillow , and yes tina it’s all worth it for my new boobies…just had a little peak at them again and my nipples arnt massive anymore lol its amazing at how quick they change….

Have you tried a pillow under your knees? I found that helped as well. How you getting on Hun? Xx

no i havnt..i will try that tonight.im great,i couldnt be happier with everything.i think i’ve been lucky,only really had the sore bum from sleeping up right but besides that i’ve had no problems..

i just want to go bra shopping already and get measured lol

I’m much more comfortable now it was just the first day I felt like I’d been in a crash lol. I actually managed to lift the kettle this morning!! Result!! Haha. I’m really looking forward to going shopping!! Buying clothes for my boobs! Love it!! Plus I took them out for the first time yesterday and got some good reactions so I’m happy happy happy! xx

morning …i couldnt find another pillow so i folded a big quilt up so that i could sit on that & so it went under my kness too…my first night without painkillers and didnt wake up once…..so thankyou very much

i see the nurse today,do you see one too? & i get my breast band off YAY xx

Oh yay!! So glad it helped!! I’ve got my post op tomorrow…….Mario said I’ve gotta keep it on for 2wks xx
