how long untill the stitches dissolve……

all PO girls how long i’m two weeks po and can feel just one left, wonder if nurse missed it when i went for my check or is this normal just scared incase it can get infected

Hey Hun. I’m almost 3 weeks post op n one of my stitches hasn’t dissolved. I’m having to c my nurse tomorrow to get it cut, if it’s left it could catch on something and make it worse. Ur best calling ur nurse xx

tnank you chelsy, i’ll give the nurse a ring, pretty hard getting up to birmingham now i am back at work so was hoping it would just dissolve in next few days, but don’t want it to get infected:( xxxx

they should take a week, but im the same as you, eight days post op, and mine havent at all i had a 100 mile round trip for a plaster change, and to be told no bathing or showering still xx
