How many of you had your op…

Postponed?? Like through no fault of illness etc? Im worried mine will get postponed as ive booked hotel and things now…xx

Mine did, due to my gp been darn difficult lol, and then the 2nd time was due to having to have my pre op redone as 1st one was out of date, so they was concerned that results wasn’t going to b bak in time x

Oh no, what a bummer…bet you were gutted!! I pray mine doesnt get put back, must be so annoying epecially if you have arrnaged hotel/time of work etc xx

Mine did too, due to the discovery of low platelet levels in my blood. I had hotel booked, hubby had a week off work booked to look after the kids, we had plans for the children looked after for the weekend etc…and only found out the day before! Was hectic but now all is sorted, and now have op the same day as beckie90

Best thing to do is to make sure you are honest at all your appointments, and keep badgering your GP to get back to MYA asap when they are needed for anything. I had to go in and see them to make them do it! If you have no problems with medical history, you should be fine! xx

Mine did due to illness; my throat swelled up like crazy and I had a really bad cold, it was completely unavoidable and I hadn’t been waiting that long so I was a little disappointed but not completely gutted lol. You’ll be fine xx

Oh god bethy…my docs are useless, like seriously i have to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment and i have to try and phone for days before i get through, dread to think how long they take to get back to letters haha! I will be on there back about that one then…I have only joined this surgery in Dec, hope that doesnt screw things up!

Oh no Dolly, what a nightmare…I am usually a healthy person so fingers crossed! I will have waited 10 weeks so will be mega disappointed if it gets postponed!xx

Yeah it was annoying but it was in my best interests not to have the op….10 weeks is a long time, wow! That’s the thing I never usually get ill either You will be fine though xx

what does your GP actually have to do for mya to go ahead with your op? worried mine will be postponed and cant book another date! x
