How much does it really hurt?

Im so excited, and want it so bad, but am so frightened of the pain…

I think it totally depends on your pain threshold hun. I thought mine was crap, but I’m not in pain at all! Only 2 days post op though, so the worst is probably yet to come.. They felt quite sore the day after, but for me it was more a feeling of discomfort than pain.

Either way I think it’s totally worth it and once you’re through the healing stage, you’ll never look back! xx

Hey, I am nearly 3 weeks post op … I had 260 unders & I am just sore to touch… like v bad sunburn….

honestly I didnt think it was ‘painful’ at all…. the feeling I had were tightness on my chest, general discomfort & sore & I was stiff overall at first till I got moving a bit more… honestly it isnt that bad at all.. ive had 3 kids so this to me was much easier…. When is your op?xx

you wont know until u have it done as everyones different. ive got a good pain threshold but i was in agony constantly for days! i just wanted them out. aswell as the tightness which is bareable i had severe sharp pains where the muscle had been cut and none of my painkillers helped, i couldnt move!

dont wana put u off but wanted to be honest, but like i said everyones different, some ppl hav no pain x

I hardly had any pain at all the first week and then the second and third i was more achy and had really sore nipples but other than that i’ve been fine! Almost five weeks on and haven’t got any pain at all, feel almost completely normal again, it’s really not as bad as you think it is going to be! xx

hey hun, wen i had mine done the 1st 2-3 days were the most uncomfy, its not really pain pain more like when uv had a really hefty upper body workout, mine felt more muscular pain than anything else, im just over 3 weeks post op now and im having the really bad sunburny feeling but i think its jus cuz the skin is stretching, but its not bad at all. i didnt think it was all that bad painwise though hun, it can be managed fine with painkillers good luck sweetie xx
