Does anyone know the answer to this please?

I live 200 miles away from the clinic so was advised to have an overnight stay. However, my partner who is paying for my op has had his hours cut and we are struggling to raise the cash – need to try and make a saving where possible xx

It’s £400 more or you could stay overnight at a hotel, would be a lot cheaper x

i would assume the over night stay is for you to come round from the anesthetic, and i really would reccomend it if you live 200 miles away.

i was not good after the anesthetic had the op at 10 am, came round at 1pm, and was still drowsy and sicky at 9pm.

im not sure how much it is for the overnight, you would have to call them for a breakdown, but really try and get one as you will need it. either that or find a cheap hotel close by where you can crash for the night and rest

    good luck

    xx

I’m having my op in Sept and the price is £400 for the overnight stay. I probably live only 20-30 mins away but i’m staying overnight just to be on the safe side.

Hi, my overnight stay will be £400. I asked about staying in a hotel really close to the hospital but they said no, I had to be an overnight case. It does cost a bit but will give me peace of mind and I think it is worth it. After reading everyones stories on here, most have said they were glad they stayed.
