    Hi,
I just want my BA as soon as possible!!
However I am a student and have important uni exams starting mid May so I don’t want something to go wrong which will mean I am in discomfort and may have implications with studying etc, yet I’m going on holiday at the start if July so really want it done way before then. What are poeple’s general opinions on this? Is it generally quite painful for weeks afterwards? Also does anyone know what the rules are on being exposed to sunlight (because of the scars etc) if I do decide to wait till just before my holiday?

    xx

    Hi Amyx

I’ve had mine done 2 weeks tomorrow. I am feeling slight soreness near the cuts and a bit tight but that’s it. I guess it all depends on how well you cope with pain etc. The first week is the worst I guess. You don’t really get pain as such as you will be on painkillers however its the tightness and swelling which makes you feel uncomfortable. But a couple of weeks later you are pretty much back to doing your normal stuff. You can’t exercise as such or pick heavy things etc which will cause strain but other than that you can do your normal studying, go out to work etc. Just need to take it easy really, nothing vigorous!

You are not allowed to expose your scars for a few months i believe. I am going to Goa in mid April however wont be bathing in the sun etc without being covered up at the top!

If you get it done now ish, you’ll be find to go on holiday in July.

    All the best xx
