how painful is it?

hi girls,im sooo wanting a boob job but am soo petrified about the pain! do you feel deathly for afew days? im such a wimp,this is the only thing putting me off!

hi hun .. would you believe me if i said it doesnt hurt? haha.. honestly when you come round you feel nothing with the anethesetic and everything… then when that wears off your on painkillers straight away… for the next few days you might get some stabbing pains but honestly it doesnt hurt. Not once was in unbearable pain or agony with mine. Its bearable and its just like a achy feeling. Don’t worry about it! My ear piercings hurt more xxx

my BA was nothing like what i thought it was going to be no where near as painful as what i expected and i havent been in that much pain at all really its went really well for me defo nothing to be scared of. getting my tape taken off hurt more hahaha your all druged up with pain killers after etc and you do get odd pains but nothing horrifc xx

yea but who had unders and who had overs? coz unders r deffo more painfull,4 most ppl anyway zz

i had unders, had a great experience with no pain x

just think it depends on the person really some people have a higher pain treshhold then others do xx

I had overs, I haven’t had any pain at all! I had aches, for me tho it just felt like I did too much on my chest in the gym x

I had overs no pain and just a bit sore where the stitches were around the nipple,the nipple area was a bit sore but i think that was down to the uplift,its fine hun honestly,all you need to know is that you will be in the boobie club,hahahahaha,and thats the best decision you will ever make.id definatly do it again,in fact if they drop anymore i will be,think ill go 500 next time,sod the natural look,lol.x this site has made me boob greedy.

i had unders and was on 5 different kinds of pain killers and not one of them got rid of the pain in the slightest and i have a very high pain threshold lol

I’m suffering quite badly these last couple days. I’m 3 days post op now and feeling quite down. I’m in a lot of pain throughout the night and even when getting up from the sofa during the day after taking pain killers My Poor sister is dreading her op now as she is having unders and I’ve had overs! Xx

I had over and i was in pain. Everyones different. Some say overs hurt lees to unders but i honestly think its down to the person. I did have an internal infection though lol x

Everyone really is different. I had uplift & overs 4 wweks ago and I have had hardly any pain at all. xxx

I had 460 unders so quite large implants n I had no pain. It’s more discomfort. I was tryin to prepare myself for the worse pain ever n it never came which was a lovely surprise. I do believe leannexxx had a very bad time tho. So it shows everybody is different x

Hey scarlett, same here..I had 460 unders on Sunday..Ive had some pain in the last few days but the medication takes away most of the discomfort to be honest. I’ve found it easier to cope if I move about rather than sit in one position for a length of time.. i tend to seize up and the pain feels a little worse.

I think you have to go into this prepared to have some pain though ladies, just count yourself lucky if you dont experience any..it is an operation after all (well two!), especially if you have unders where the muscle is cut, but it’s nowhere near as bad as you think x

I’m 4 days po and have had no pain killers the last two days. Everyone is different and will cope with things in different ways. It’s more the discomfort as I feel like I’m trying to support two iron cannon balls that have been strapped to my chest lol! My left shoulder is in more pain than my boobs due to holding myself differently, and trying to sleep upright is the worst part for me. I wake up with a really sore ass and get stabbing pains going through my boobs. Every day gets a little easier though and having kids is much more painful. The heavyness in your boobs is much the same as your milk coming in but at least this time they wont get all sucked out XX

P.S I was terrified but honest it’s nothing

just shows how different we all are! im a little less worried but is any1 asthmatic? i am, and hav read somewhere that ur chest feels so tight,it panicks me thinking i wont be able to breathe properly!

I am asthmatic hun.. your chest doesnt feel tight in an asthmatic kind of way at all, dont worry. I was also worried about that.

I did find that my whole chest region was tender when I breathed in my inhaler for the first 2 days, but I didnt feel any more chesty thann normal.

Must say that I have had some harsh pains in the last 12 hours, some have taken my breathe away at times. The MYA nurse rang me on day 1 and said that may feel more pain in the next few days – SHE WAS RIGHT LOL ouchieeeeeeeeee!!!

Everyone is different hun,honestly nothing to worry about,you wont care about anything once you have your boobies,lol,xxxxxxxx

I have asthma too so thanks ladies good to know about that.

Kezza460 u said u took ur inhalers in the first 2 days was that cos u had had the op or just u cos u needed them in general? Xx

I took my preventer as normal twice a day, I didnt need it any more than normal chick. There is a tight-ish feeling but its more muscular than your airways tightening like the normal asthma symptoms x
