    Hey!

I am getting my BA on the 29.12.10, I am currently a 34 C and I am getting 460CC over the muscle.

I have been told I will be fine to go back to work on the 4th of January, but I am worried I will be in too much pain? I work in an office, so nothing too strenuous but I don’t know any one that has had a BA, or any type of cosmetic surgery and I don’t know what to expect!

Have you had a baby before??

I had my BA under the muscle on the 1st of this month and less than 48 hours later I was back to spray tanning a few clients, then on the 4th day I did a set of nails…

The reason I ask if you’ve had a baby is that I actually found it to be more uncomfortable than painful, pretty much like being heavily pregnant and such a strain to even lift yourself up from the sofa or out of bed…

I stopped taking painkillers after the 2nd day as well as they caused more problems with drowsiness and confusion than the pain I was getting.. you should be fine but then again, everyone’s different.

Thanks for coming back to me! No I havn’t had any children yet but 48hours wow thats quick! I thought I would be in bed for the week. I hope mine goes as well as yours!

Do you know if there is a difference in the recovery time, between under the muscle and over the muscle??

Under is ‘meant’ to be a longer recovery time but I have heard of people who had overs who said it took them longer to feel normal than it did me… some things are still uncomfortable for me and it’ll be 3 weeks tomorrow but it hasn’t been painful, changing into 5th gear in the car is annoying or pulling down on a high door handle at my Son’s nursery but that’s about it… it just seems to be things that are pulling on my muscle, straining that cause a problem :)

Yeah I think I will be able to get a lift to work for the first few weeks, I can imagine that may be a bit uncomfortable !

Thanks for your help, it has definatly made me feel more relaxed about it! It seems like I will still be able to do things, I will just need to be a bit careful!

    :) xx

hey hunny, I was not in that much pain although today is my 6th day post op and my ribs are really really hurting. I have been quite lucky with pains in my new boobies and going back to work after my post op appointment as i only work in a office. Going out this weekend as well. xx

i had my op weds n don’t take my pain killers got some lovely bruising coming out tho. Ive picked my 2 year old up and carried her around, she is about 2st and i can pretty much do everything. reaching things on the top shelf is a bit tricky but getting btr don’t want to over do it more than anything. I’ve a stinking cold n cough and that is bothering me more than my boobs are i had 485cc low profile overs. I was a 34b/c now wearing a 36e but still swollen cant wear anything to tight round my bust because of bruising. You should be fine you will no your limits
