they advice 6 weeks hun, but i was naughty and went back to the gym 3.5 weeks po only doing light cardio though i didnt attempt weights till i was 6 weeks + im a mega gym freak too i work out 1-2 hours everyday so the no exercise rule killed me, i was out walking everyday from day 1 of my opp to fuel my exercise addiction lol xx

It’s suppose to be at least 6 week but my aunty had hers done was in a bad way for 3 days in hospital n then went back to gym weightlifting working her chest at 11 days post op, which Tbh I would not recomend it put way too much pressure on boobs and incisions xx

my surgeon said 6 weeks and im gutted!! :-( not worth the risks, my friend who has had a BA said its not just weights if you raise your heart rate it can affect the little blood vessels in your breasts.

Guess its not worth it, enjoy your time off muscle memory is amazing you will bounce back.

they recommend 6 weeks for that too, but even after the 6 weeks you need to keep your scars covered for up to a year because uv light can cause the scars to go red and stay red permanently same rule applies for the sun too xx
