Wow telle you was up and about the day after!! Im feeling more with it as time goes on n it feels like my right side is more mobile than my left at min. Can get around but still having most things done for me. I have 2 kids but their 8 n 5 so pretty independent n my hubby has been fantastic throughout. Plus i have good friends on standby also. But just looking forward to being able to do stuff again im not one for sitting around!! Happy healing hun :) xx

do you mean 18 birthday?? If so u may be fine im still sore but i can move around. N its only the second day after for me. If you can get someone to dress you n move around you will beable to turn up for a little while. But everybody is different, my hubby has just gone out to get me a v pillow to help with the sleeping. Im hoping it will also help the healing process quicker too by being more comfortable :)

i had my ba on tuesday last week, and was was up and about next day, i asked my husband to take a day off to look after kids on wednesday( as its the only day of the week they dont go to nursery as i always have it off) and on thursday i went shopping, friday deep cleaned the house. i would not say i am 100%, but i am very mobile, i am more sore in the mornings after i wake up….tomorrow i am back to work.

WOW Elana your healing much quicker than me!! Tho i would say dont overdo it as you dont wanna put your healing backwards, but thats great if you can do all that. Im not a wimp about pain but not healing half as quick as that. I can move my right arm a lot more freely now but my left is still pretty much immobile. I dont need to use the painkillers now as the pain is managable without. Im at 3 days post op managed to have a shallow bath today and can move around the house n do little things, but the hubby is off for a week with me whilst i heal. He has been great n i couldnt of done it without him. So to anybody thinking of doing this alone think again every case different!! My main problem for first 2 days was getting up frrom couch n the bed!! As it puts too much pressure on your boobies tryna do it with your own body strength. Good luck all n happy healing :)

Hey Chery, everyone is different. I’m very fit & active, but have been totally wiped after my op on Monday. My sister stayed with me for 5 days and literally did everything for me. We managed little walks into town but I kept getting out of breath like an old lady. I went for a meal with friends last night & had a few (non-alcholic) drinks afterwards and feel totally shattered today. I’m back at work tomorrow & wish I’d taken another couple of days off! :(

All I would say is listen to your body. You’ll know when your ready to leave the house & do things for yourself again. Happy healing. x

Thanx Sophie, Feel a little better each day. Went to a friends house last night for a change of scenery which helped a bit. Im now managing to move my left arm a little so guess it means its on its way to healing which is good. You defo need to listen to your body n mine seems to be healing well so all good. :)
