how tight should macom be? xx

I bought a 34 macom and felt a bit loose round the back so I bought a 32 but its just come this morning and can hardly do it up. Should it be tight? Should it be pulling your boobs together? Thanks girls xx

i actually dont know this answer myself but when i wear mine i just wear it so its comfy i dont make it tight at all, i wear a medium one even though a small would prob fit but i dont wanna squash them as i wore a tight sports bra with a zip last week an it made my boobs look weird when i took it off! i say comfort over tightness, but i actually dont know what a surgeon would say! xx

Ooo thanks flicky! That’s what I’m worried about them getting squished and looking weird! Or being permanently flat haha. My medium is comfy but lil bit baggy so wasn’t sure if it was supporting me properly. My boobs look like they need pulling together a bit more too they seem to look like theyr a bit flatter in the middle when I look down and bigger on the outsides that’s why I bought a smaller one. Think I have a bit of swelling still in the middle maybe. I might leave it on a couple of hours and check to make sure they’re ok lol. It looks a better fit but I can definately feel them pushing together more which isn’t as comfy! xx

Yeah supposed to b quite tight as it is a compression bra (meant to reduce risk of infection), I found it easier to do it up above boobs then pull it down over them. Do it up on the widest setting to start with then as swelling goes down then make it tighter.

Thanks kmarie, my medium felt too loose but my small one feels tight but fits much better. Got it on the widest setting at the mo cos it feels a bit weird/uncomfortable when it pulls them together but getting used to it now! Xx

How does it reduce risk of infection? Xx

Dunno how it works, was just what I read on the Macom website Mine felt tight at first but I liked that made me feel more secure lol!
