After my op I was bandages for a day and when the nurse took those off she chose a 34C bra for me to wear which i didn’t quite fill, now 4 days PO i’ve swapped it for a 34D as the C was very tight and felt like it was restricting my breathing. The D isn’t baggy and i fill it completely but do i need to wear a bra that is compressing me??

Help please, was 34aa, had 340cc unders

were a bra that feels right. i had to change mine from dd to f as the bra was killing me. they will change in size after few days anyway babe. so just wear what feels the best, but make sure it isnt to loose.

Thanks girls, towards the end of the day i’ve been thinking i may need to go up another size!! Hoping this is just because they have swelled during the day??

Back in my comfy macom tonight so i’ll see what tomorrow brings, hubby’s pleased!!

Hey ros / girls, I’m in dd sports bra at the moment and since yesterday it’s a little tighter. Thought it would of got looser as the swelling goes down? My other half is going out to buy me a bigger size tomorrow. I did buy a macom bra online too prior to op (large) which was too small for me! xxx

wow michelle, what size cc did you have. Mine was OK in the end today so saved myself a bit, but think i need a smaller macom as mine rides up in bed which is really uncomfy

see my surgeons told me u shudnt really wear a aports bra, coz u dont want to restrict them u want them to drop. if you have to wear one it should be really loose and literally just covering you…strange :s

Ros I had 300cc from 34b, I had uplift too. My bf had to go out and buy me a sports bra from tesco after my op as my macom bra was too tight. The nurse said it was fine to wear? Really leanne? I’m seeing my nurse again this week so I’ll ask her. I’ll still get a loose fitted sports bra tomorrow though. xxx

Hi girls, just thought i’d let you know that i’ve given up on the tesco sports bra after going for a walk and it giving me no support at all!

I have just bought a non wired bra from Marks and the difference is amazing!

I got it in the outlet store so only £8, it’s super comfy on my scars and i can feel it supporting me without squashing me which is such a difference!
