How to change PC?

Does anyone know how you can go about changing your PC? Thanks x

Ask them if you can change? Just say your friend went with the other PC or something x

id like to change mine too!! She doesnt bother with me and all the other girls on here always say how lovely their pc’s are and how supporting they are.

Mine took my deposit and then when i tried to contact her she never responds!!

Sounds like some pc’s are way better than others. You are well within your rights to request a new pc. Speak to your clinic manager as you will need their support as the op gets closer. I was let down lots by my pc I’m afraid and wish I had changed looking back x

my pc is brill she texted me all the time before and after surgery and when i went for my 1 week check up with the nurse she made a point of popping into see me i had miriam in cardiff clinic and even the nurse at cardiff clinic texted me the following morning after surgery to make sure im ok but i havent had any complications or pain at all xx

Lauren in Liverpool is absolutely lovely, really supportive and responds straight away when I text or email her xxx

I had Kayleigh in Manchester, she has been fab! She always got back to me (albeit sometimes it takes a while but they are busy people), she rang me the day before surgery and the day after to see how i was getting on. The nurse has been lovely too and rang me the day after to check how I was doing.

My only very small complaint about MYA is that i rang the emergency line a day or 2 after having my op cos I was freaking out a bit and thought i had DVT as my leg felt really funny like i couldn’t seem to get the circulation going in it. Anyway the nurse who picked up made me feel a bit stupid really like i was being daft and wasting her time. Then asked for my full details as she had to put it on my file that i had rang the emergency line. I ended up wishing i hadnt rang and my boyfriend was not best pleased, he was like we have just paid them 4 bloomin grand, if you want to ring them then you ring them end of!! Haha.

Other than that both MYA and my pc have been fabulous and i’m very glad i went with them xx

I can’t say I like or dislike my PC I’ve seen her once on my first ever appointment and she hasn’t contacted me much at all

I’ve had the same experience as you Amychristina, i met my PC Amy when i had initial consulation in Liverpool, then when i came to meet dr russo as book Kayleigh dealt with me (who is lovely) then when i went to manchester i saw kayleigh again and the nurse, i didn’t hear from Amy at all before or after surgery. I feel like everyone else has been very nice, and Amy was nice enough when i met her but i don’t see that there was any point in her introducing herself as my ‘personal consultant’ x

My PC is Victoria at the Holborn clinic (I’m having the op in Highgate). She’s been very good so far. Always helpful, and the best thing of all – always gets back to me really fast. No complaints at all so far. Very glad I’ve got a good PC.

If you don’t feel yours is right for you, my advice is to change. You are paying for the service after all, and a BA is a life changing thing, so if you don’t feel you have someone you can talk to then that is going to make it even harder!

are we suppose to hear from our PCs? i just seen her when she took my money. that was it! no phone call or contact so far!

Mines been the same as yours charlotte ive only seen mine once and that was at my first consultation, my ops on wednesday and havent heard anything of my PC!! xx

I saw my pc in Chelmsford on 1st consult. Spoke to her after I saw surgeon to book the op and pay deposit. Other than me trying to make contact that was it. To be honest I’m not sure what I was meant to expect. I suppose it helps having all u girlies on here to chat to and ask questions. I think I could be a fantastic PC, I think you’d end up telling me to leave u alone hehe

I have Amy at Manchester who is excellent. Always txts back and keeps me updated ect..

It took me a week and 3 emails to get hold of my PC… I got a call straight back when I left a message to say I wanted to book my op though. Bit annoying really, but i’m sure I’ll be fine x
