Hi Girls, I am 18 and I am at the early stages of thinking about considering a BA. I am currently a 32C but very small in comparison with my size 8 figure. It is something that I have been considering for a long time but I am now ready to take the first steps to make my initial appointment.
If any of you girls who have been for consultations or are post op I would really appreciate it if you could advise me which surgeon you would recommend and whether you think I am of an appropriate age to have a BA. x

I wanted a BA at 15 obviously knew I was too young and the thing that stopped me was thinking ‘I’ll grow and fill out next year’…iv not long turned 20 and I’m still an A and I have decided to book my surgery and go through with it happening on the 1st of April! ! For me I know I want one and I haven’t stugled to make a decision however at 18 It may have been different. It is a lot of money and you need to thing about a variety of things:
    – how much do you want a BA?
-how do you think you will feel after BA
    -is it financially do able
-do you think you will grow more?
    – do the risks out weigh the positives of having BA
just a few things to consider.. only you know what you truly want and nothing I or anyone else says should influence your decision as it is your body.
its a huge change to make but if its for you then go for it! You can go to a consultation free of charge and ask everything and anything and not commit to anything so you can see how you feel after and you could always get it a few years down the line! Plus you can save up some money that way! Hope this helps it can be daunting xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Natasha, I have wanted one for a very long time and I am now at an age where I am able to do so. The money isn’t an issue for me due to working full time so in respect of that I would have no problems, it is a big decision to make and I obviously want to make sure that I make the right decision. After your response I think the best thing for me to do would be go for a consultation and ask all the possible questions I can think of and make my decision from there.
Thank you very much for your response and I hope your surgery goes well!xxxx

@bryony A 32C sounds reasonable for a size 8 figure to me. I always wanted a breast augmentation and did consider it when I was your age, however I decided to wait until I was 22.This was better as by this age I had a stable job and a steady income. Having a BA is a life long decision, the breast implants do not last forever and as you get older, have kids, loose weight, gain weight etc you will need to change your implants more than likely because they won’t be the same as they once were. Its been 10 years now since I had my first BA and I am having a re-aug done in March as I would like them bigger as they have started to drop (with gravity and age) and do not seem or feel how they once were. This is something that you really need to think about and perhaps discuss it with members of your family or close friends. Saying that having a BA was the best thing I ever did and I do not regret it one bit, just glad that I made the decision to wait until I was older before making such a dramatic life changing decision. If you take all of thid in to consideration and decide you want to go for it I wish you the best of luck xxxxx
