I can see a staple 8-|

omg I can see a staple, when I look down my top and bra, it is only just covered by a steri strip and the dressing isn’t covering it will this be OK to leave till my week check on Friday?? xxx

Ow how come you’ve had staples? Yep should b ok if it’s healing it mite b working itself out xxx

I had a full uplift with Dr Traynor and he always uses staples on the anchor and dissolvable stitches around the nipple.

It’s on the underside of the breast at the end of the anchor I can see it when I look straight down! I’m only 3 days post op. Im just worried because it’s not covered very well xxx

Do u have any steri strips that u could put over it? I had ful uplift too on Monday, Ive just had dissolvable stitches in mine, I had an arm lift too tho n got staples in my pits, they’re driving me insane. How are u feeling? I’m still feeling crap today!!! Day 3 I was really bloated & uncomfortable.xxx

Hun thats amazing, go you!!! I feel ok to be honest, a bit tight and get the odd twinge. My throat is so sore, I think they shuved the oxygen pipe right down my blumming throat

It’s pretty much covered by a steri strip, I don;t think the strip is wide enough to convered it and touch the skin either side if you get what I mean, so its kinda sitting on top of it. I keep pressing it back on lol im not in pain or anything with it, I am wondering if my body is trying to expel it or something

Yeah it prob is. I had lipo an arm lift uplift & 380 overs. I was a saggy 36d/dd. Day 2 was the worst, I could hardly move, 3 I was a big bloated mess n since then I jus feel spaced, tired n jus not with it at all, had a few testy moments too.

But u seem to be doing great! I had all my tape n dressings changed ystrday n get my staples out on thurs, I can’t wait! My throat was sore, n I had sores at the sides of my mouth too, think it may of been the tube & tape maybe? I was under for 6 and a half hours, still can’t get over that. Was only meant to be under for 4! xxx

How were your dressings when you had them changed? I have just looked and my right is leaking through to my bra, its not blood though, like a clear pale yellow discharge witha hint of pink do you think thats ok? It doesn’t smell and i’m not in any real pain other then the norm. I nearly shit myself, I thought the dressing had rubbed away and I could see the implant!! I am terrified of getting a hole xxx

My nipples were bleeding, cos shed pulled the strips off that had dried blood on them. 1 of them had that colour stuff comin out of it n she jus cleaned it up n put inodine strips over n then dressings over the top. She left the strips on my arms she’s gonna pull them off thurs I think. That’s wat I’m more scared of.

Don’t worry Hun you’ll be fine. You’ll b stitched up to the max, ther’l be no chance of u getting any holes. Does make u panic tho doesn’t it xxx

It deffo does. Thanks so much for sharing that hun, I really really appreciate it. Where are you going for your check on Thurs? Mines supposed to be on Friday at Birmingham but I am thinking of changing it to Thurs instead, really need to get these manky dressings changed. xxx

Yeah they changed mine at 5 days so shouldn’t c y they won’t do yours! N no problems Hun, I’m just a few days infront so if your worried about anything just pm me! I’m in Manchester for mine, I wish I could jus go back to the hospital were I had it done, it was only 5 mins from my house. Manchester is 40 min drive away & I’m not allowed to drive for 3 week so it’s a bit of a shitter!xxx
