I can sleep normally again! 1 week post op appointment…

Hey girliiiieeesss…so I’ve had my one week post op appointment.

I got a huge hug from my PC when I walked in which was sooo sweet she said I looked really well and fab. She had a genuine “wow” reaction which was so nice.

My nurse who’s also amazing came and got me and took me to the room. She took my blood pressure and temperature and said everything was perfect and then sat me on the bed.

She removed my bandages which was a bit icky, didn’t hurt just uncomfortable, and then cleaned them which stung a little but then felt sooo nice and refreshing. She put on another steri strip but it’s so much better than that huge bandage, just a little white thin strip across my tiny scars. She said I can wash them off on Sunday so still waiting on that amazing shower I’m going to have!!! She said that they were quite soft for 1 week and that I was healing reall well which I’m sooo relieved about!

I’m allowed to sleep flat but I had to buy another sports bra today because you have to put a freshly washed one on everyday to avoid infection. I’ve got it on now and it’s a wee bit tight but it’s only for when the MACOM is in the wash (which it is right now because of the extreme tightness of my current cheap but nice crop top/sports bra hehe)

So all in all it’s been a good day, I’m just a bit worried about rubbing on the scar area or anything going wrong there.They look very nice and neat but still I’m worried hehe, anyway I hope I heal as well as I have from now on. Hope that’s given people some info on the 1 week post op anyway, I get my new camera tomorrow so pics will be up tomorrow night x x x

So glad its all gone OK…. Remember when you were pre op and still panicking about how to tell the mother in law! LoL I swear it all happens so quick!

That shower is so close and yet so far away still tho! x

thanks girls!! yeah she was laughing today about it actually. It flies by so quick…apart from the shower haha I am quite frankly disgusting!! Khanni wont be long till you can sleep flat hunny will go really quick x x

Yay welcome back to the land of BED!!! Isnt it just AMAZING!!! I cant tell you how lush it felt to lie down in my bed!!! Although as Im such a moaning cow, Id much rather be lying on my side or front!!! Counting own the days till I can do that!!! OMG whats with all the bloody exclamation marks? Think its the merlot taking effect- my first drink since BA! xx

Do you have to keep the bandage on for a week??! x
