i feel ok and am ten days post op can i lift daughter??:( x

I had unders 10 days ago and asked my nurse at my week check up and she said its not advised but if you really have to you should get down to their level and pick them up, think the worse thing you can to is bend to pick them up! So putting them in and out of the for or bath is a big no!! My daughter is only 9 months old and small for her age but sometimes when I lift it pulls a bit so I try not to but we do sit and have cuddles now! Have you got unders or overs? Hope this helps!! Xx

I’ve been lifting my daughters for a few days now and I’m 10 days post op too. All depends on how u feel hun I felt fine and completely back to normal jobs now like vacuuming and lifting shipping bags xx

hey korin i have a 16month old daughter i have lifted her out of cot and highchair if my partners there ill stil get him to do it but if theres no1 around obs i have to do it and i feel fine to, i just use my knees bend to pick my kids up wich i never did before lol we both had unders on same day didnt we, so just fort id let u no xx

I had 410 overs 5 weeks ago and I started to lift my little girl (who was 3 months then) after 10 days, I still dont carry her in her car seat though and I help with bathing rather than lifting her….. xx

i had 410 overs and i picked my 6month old son up at 5 days post op, i told my nurse and she said it was fine as long as i felt fine to do so, i have been picking him up like normal since then and had no problems now 25days PO xx
