i got told i'll need 2 stay over can u be ask 2 be a day case??help

Im due 2 meet my surgion (dr singh) at the end of feb but in my 1st appointment she told me i would have to stay over night but ive heard if ur a day case its cheaper do u think i could ask 2 be a day case which would be better as i have childrem?x
