i had my open rino a few days ago 9/4/12

ill post pics once stitches and bandage come of but i was just wondering did anyone eye lids blow up in size ???? i cant even open my eyes much its just pure brusing there is no brusing anywhere else but my eyes kill…my tip looks so big i just want the brusing to go

Hi, I am 7 days post op. My eye lids were also very swollen after surgery, also my entire face including lips. After 3-4 days it went down considerably, and today I have close to no swelling, just some remaining bruising on the eye lid! Not a good look but it will also go away soon. So don’t worry about it. Drink lots of pinapple juice and try some ice for your eyes. It helped me a lot! Happy Healing x

My tip looked also huge in the first couple of days….it got better with time and today it is a lot smaller!

What annoys me is that my nose INSIDE is still swollen so can’t breath through my nose But hope it gets bette soon.

I a getting my cast off on Saturday! Can’t wait to see my new nose x

I looked like Princess Fiona for about a week! My friend dropped me home and about ten minutes later my eye swelled up to closing, was so worried I contacted the nurse via the forum. It’s all part of the natural healing!
