I hate FML !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IM SO STRESSED!!!

After all the problems ive had with my forms over the past couple of weeks FML have just called and said i cant afford the finance! (which is total crap!)

Im making so many sacrifices to get my boobs done like moving back home with my parents for a year.. getting rid of my car and now it looks like they might refuse my application!!!

oh no !!! im having the same problem getting credit because last year we was catching up with bills after the recession our credit rating went rock bottom, but now my husbands working in a new fantastic job the past year and we can totally afford it but we’ve got turned down left right and center! i really feel for youx

Its 2 weeks untill my surgery date aswell!

Ill seriously kill if i lose any money for re-arranging my date! I dont know what to do if they turn me down now?!… Cant get a credit card or loan with anyone else as i literally dont have much of a credit rating! I guess ill have to cancel

thats awful, surely after sacrificing so much you’d be able to afford it, my sisters attempting to get me a loan in her name and i pay her the monthly outgoings, i hope you get things sorted x

Call your PC! Seriously hun because when i first applied they really made it difficult for me, they were trying to make me take a loan out but meant me coming off the policy and two people taking the loan out for me!!!! I called my PC and said it’s ridiculous and i’m really miserable about it as couldn’t get it done any other way and she called her boss and they got FML to agree it with me and my mum as the guarantor because MYA fund part of FML so they get a bit of a say in what happens. Don’t give up, call your PC and have a chat with her, see what she says first as it worked for me xx

Oh suger!! Loads of people av ad problems wi them. Think MYA should find another company to deal with their finance.

Some1 posted recently that she got turned down and then they rang her up a couple of days later sayin that she could av it.

Is there any chance you could ask some1 to be on a joint application with you? xx

Thanks everybody!!! Ive got my mum as a garantour on the application but theyve said the only way i can have the loan is if my mum pays for it!

Id be paying it even if it came out of her account so i dont just see why they cant let me have it?! Im only borrowing 2000.. Gona call my PC now and have a rant! Its doin my head in!

I think after all the problems ladies have had with FML they should really re-consider who manage their finances!!

To be honest i know i’ve heard loads of complaints about them but without them i doubt i would have been able to get them done at all so i’m thankfull for them. I’m paying £312 a month interest free for 12 months which is really steep as well as paying my rent etc but at least in ten months time they’ll be mine and i’ve been able to get them done. People complain about them but they gave me a loan when my bank wouldn’t! xx

Hi susyp, why do u think they gave u the loan if ur bank wudnt? Im stressin coz iv got rent ect to come out of my wage n not a brill credit history but can get some1 to do a joint claim if need be, do u think this would pass from ur experiance?

Im only going to be paying £160 a month and im not gona have any other bills really as im moving back home to my mums for a year!! So i dont see why they cant give me it!!! lol xx

£160 is nothin if ur nt payin for owt else! They prob just need a kick up the backside so deffo give ur PC a cal, surley they can do somethin about that. U must of got some1 who hates their job and though they wud make ur life stressful!! xx

I’ve got shocking credit rating from when i was younger an didn’t pay things on time, still have defaults on my account. Think they gave it to me because my mum was my joint applicant and also they can see that i earn quite decent money and i’ve not missed a payment for years even if i do still have defaults on my credit rating as they stick for six years…..

It’s so frustrating as they wouldn’t give me a three year deal where i pay less each month for longer but because i’ve got bad credit decided to make me pay the highest i can a month, it doesn’t make sense as could easily afford £99 a month but £312 is a big difference but either way they gave it to me and i’m thankfull as wouldn’t have my new boobies otherwise! xx

Me too they are a pain. Only offered me £1,500 because they couldn’t verify my income due to it being paid in euro instead of pounds. I earn WELL over what they’re lending me LOL, and they had bank statements and wage slips to show this. Luckily my boyfriend has agreed to help me pay upfront.

Those payments dont make sense atall suzyp! lol but think of it like this.. in a year youll be debt free with them!

Tell me about it! Really doesn’t make any sense how they charge people with bad credit and who are in more debt more interest and make it generally harder for them to repay loans and people who don’t need as much help get lower interest and better payment plans?? If they think we’ll struggle paying it back why make the repayments more? Grrrrrr! xx

ur right suzy…. and what happens ids you end up with people declaring bankrupt , like i had to 3 years ago, and they dont see a penny off it ever again so they are not helping themselves at all. i dont even attempt to try get credit anymore , whats the point with a bankruptcy against my name… im buggered hahahaha… its piggybank srimping and saving for me. ive saved 350 so far…. only ten times that amount to go

I’ve had a right ordeal with them too. Applied for full amount of £4k and initially approved. Then sent off my paperwork and they said they’d only loan me £3k because I was asking for the full amount and wanted me to pay £1k too. I said I’d need time to do save the £1k and would need to let my provisional date of 25th may go, because I wouldn’t be paid again before then. My PC tried to help but they stood their ground. So gutted about it, have had to cancel the lot and will need to save now.

I earn £32k a year and have good clean credit history. The repayments are so affordable to me but I already have a credit card so didn’t want another one. The hassle now is that I’d have to reapply and go through all the paperwork again when I’ve saved the £1k. Don’t want to get numerous searches on my credit report so looks like it’s a waiting game for me.

Anna you are so lucky to have got your PC to change their mind. I had no guarantor but I think for the money I make it’s a bit of a slap in the face.
