I have given up on my sports bra !!

Hi,

I’m 4 weeks post op today , and my boobs are practically where i want them to be,

( although still softening)

my scars are good and i can hardly see them .

I am sick of wearing sports bra’s in the day , especially in this weather.

so i went to primark today and brought a couple of comfy bra’s.to tide me over , they fit great and feel great.

I dont see the problem if it is not digging in the scars. it is still giving good support, and i will still wear my sports bra to bed.

has anyone else done the same or have anything to add about this ?

i know exactly what your saying i’m 3 weeks post op today, and i’m gettin sick of the sports bra already, they’re not the best things to wear when its warm, especially if you want to put a small vest top or something on. . .

let me know how you get on not wearing one. . .

i dont know if i dare? i’d rather not wear one at all. . . i wouldnt want the underwire to rub on my scars. . . xx

i had unders and had to wear a breast band for 3 wks but only did 2 wks because my boobs seemed to be in the right place,

and was told to wear a sports bra day and night for 6 wks .

i Had Mr Malik at highgate , and i havnt heard anyone else mention him, he was very good. im pleased.

i’d just be careful if you’ve been instructed to wear a sports bra. i too had to wear one for 6 weeks, day and night. if i was you i just definately wouldn’t wear an underwired bra! no bra is probably better than a bra, if you’re not going to wear a sport bra.

i can completely understand where you’re coming from though! xxx
