I have had enough!!

Sorry to moan girls but I have had enough of this recovery malarkey, I feel like absolute rubbish!! These antibiotics are making me feel so spaced and dizzy and sick, I’ve got a permanent headache from sleeping upright, back ache from sleeping upright, I’ve only been to the loo once in 5 days so my tummy is so bloated and sore. The only part of my body that isn’t causing me any issues are my boobs!! I stopped taking painkillers 2 days after my op as I didn’t need them and I took 2 paracetamol last night cos of my headache and I thought I was about to pass out! First it made my headache worse and then I felt like i had been on the waltzers for an hour and the room was moving at a million miles an hour and I was gonna throw up! I rang the emergency line at this point and got no answer or reply to the message I left! Luckily enough I went to bed and it calmed down. Think I’m feeling worse cos my boyfriend is working nights so I’ve been on my own for the last 3 days. I just want to cry all the time. This is a re op for me and I don’t remember it being this bad last time xx

I know how you feel hunny i felt exactly the same. im now 10 days p.o and feeling much better and back to my normal self except for a bit of bruising and acheyness…it wont last long but it is a horrible period! Once you’re off all the meds you will start feeling better, i was relieved when i took my last tablets. Drink lots of water to help flush your system through and maybe rent a few movies online to make yourself feel better. Its hard to be positive when you feel crap but i hope you like your new assets and get well soon! xxx

Huni ur not alone, ive been having the time from hell aswell I feel for u.. Heads he’s, back and back ache from sleeping upright, stomach pain from 5days of constipation, sore boobs, my jaw hurts cus of previous surgey last yr, chest pain and palpatation (been a&e) they did heart trace sed I’m ok probly anxiety, n it’s time of the month so I’m a emotional wreck n can’t stop crying … Although I’ve woke up this morning feeling slightly more positive… I’m sending u lots and lots of hugs luvly n just keep thinkin ur will worth ut in the end… I no wat will make u smile I did my first tiny mini po lastnite but atleast it’s sumthin look on the positives at ha xx

I just feel like I’ve got the worlds worst never ending hangover! Them there’s the hot and cold flushes lol. I can’t wait to finish these horrible antibiotics, 4 days down 3 to go! Yeah tv is my new best friend, I’ve gone through a whole box set of desperate housewives in less than 3 days lol. Glad you are feelin better hun xx

hope you start feeling better soon hun, im feeling like i might have had it easy! had ba and uplift on tuesday worse days were friday and sat, ended up being sick and didnt sleep until last night! managed to sleep from about 12am-3 then about 5am-7am which to me was amazing lol sleeping up is horrible thou, constant headache! i only had antibiotics for 3 days, is that right? i just cant find a sports bra that doesnt hurt either! im usually a 34 band bought a medium macom and its been digging in and hurting! got a 36e zip up from marks and spencer and feel like im being crushed lol! then i got a 38dd from tesco as i was so swollen and that feels too big! just cant get it right girls xx

Aww Amanda sounds like you’re having a mega rubbish time of it too! I think I could cope with most if it, it’s just the dizzy and sick feeling I can’t handle. My friend is coming round to take me out for a bit of fresh air today so hopefully that will make me feel a bit better. At least you can rest easy knowing that you’re ok after going to a&e but what a rubbish time to be ladies week! I am too which is making everything worse only mine has been ladies fortnight cos I have the implant in my arm and u don’t have a period for months en in get one that lasts forever! Thinking long term will get us through and I do love my boobies! Sending you lots of hugs back hunny and you’re right that did make me smile lol xx

3 days of antibiotics? You lucky lady! I’m on 7 days! It doesnt sound like you’ve had it that easy either though hun. With bras I think it’s just a case of shopping around a bit. I love my macom but I did go through a phase of hating it last time, but I hated all bras as they were so uncomfy. This time has been much easier boob wise, minimal pain, no bruising, no heavy squashed feeling and already going soft. I’ve not lost any more feeling and im not overly sensitive like last time so fingers crossed it stays that way! Maybe have a trip out and try a few more on to see what fits right xx

Same here ive stopped my tablets they were making me too ill my right side feels fine but i still keep getting a constant pain in my right like a twinge as anyone else got tgat at the bottom?xxxx

ive got that pain aswel in the bottom of my right boob! my incisions are irritating me. the tops of my boobs are numb aswel. i was planning on going out today with a friend to have a look but just my luck my son is off school today ill lol so im looking on line. any one got any suggestions for a good sports bra that doesnt irritate? did you have to have a re op amy or did you choose to go bigger? xx

Aw so it must be normal! Thankgod im not the only one!! I had one on from marks and spencers but had to get a new one from debehnams as it was rubbung on my scars and wasnt supportive enough xxxx

the m+s one (zip one) completely squashes my boobs!! so uncomfortable! whats the one from debenhams like? i just want a band that doesnt cut into me lol! maybe its because ive stuffed my face the last week aswel! cant wait to start herbalife! x

Hey girls I’d say the first 3 days were the toughest and the first 6 days were bad.. Every day gets easier, I could see my progress which was making me feel more positive. I must say the antibiotics made me feel ill everytime I took one. And I felt horrible untill I was pooing lol then the bloating started going down! Chin up girls when this bit passes it will only get better, boobs will settle no pain just big smiles im only 2 weeks po and I’m over the moon! Xx

My royce bra is amazingly comfortable! does up at the front yo ucan easily adjust straps at front too, its so good. dont worry girls you will all start feeling better soon and it will all be worth it in the end. big hugs to everyone xxx

Karlie I got that last time, it’s your nerves knitting back together and hopefully the start of your feeling coming back so take it as a good thing

Lindsey I had revision surgery to sort out my remaining asymmetry and so far I am very happy with the results, fingers crossed if stays that way!

I’ve just been out for lunch and a wander round the shops with my friend and have to say I feel tonnes better! The fresh air must have done me some good but I’m shattered again now, just wanna sleep lol. Hopefully it will carry on getting better from here xx

Yeah it definely has for me. I think feeling sorry for myself and wallowing was making me feel physically worse! I debated going bigger overall but then decided I was happy with the size of my bigger one. I measure an F cup now from a b/c before and now that my smaller one has been re done I think it actually makes them both look bigger and I should be able to get a good cleavage! I had 415 and 485 high profile soft touch overs originally and then the 485 was replaced with 605 so it was quite a difference. Think I had one a cup boob and one b/c boob pre op. You are still early days hun, I got massive boob greed but mine grew at 3 months and again at 6 months so be patient and you’ll have a great pair! What size did you have? Xx

I had 525 but I would love 700 haha I had an uplift aswel so max was 525 I am happy but think I just expected them bigger but it’s early days. Hoping when they settle and get softer they will get bigger! Wishful thinking lol! I’ve sent you friend request hope that’s ok. So glad your better thou after getting out! I’ll be 1 week po tomorrow so think I’ll drive a short distance to the shops and have a walk round !xx

Thanks hun it’s cheered me up loads! Ive had revision surgery but it’s 7 months on from my last so you do forget how rubbish you feel! That’s also fab though cos it reminds me it won’t last forever and I’m feeling better already! Xx

Yeah I can’t wait til they are all settled again and I’m sooo glad I went through with the revision. I’ve been drinkin 2.5 litres of water for the last couple of days and it’s really helped. After all my moaning this morning I feel miles better tonight! Got my 1 week check tomorrow so hopefully I’ll be able to shower and stop sleeping upright and then I will feel tonnes better again xx
