I joined the boobie club!

Hi girls

I’m writing this from my hospital bed, about 6 hours after surgery..

I got to Highgate at 8am this morning where I had to fill out forms and check details etc, had to wait around in reception for like 45 mins but then got taken up to my room.

It wasn’t long before Mr Fallahdar come in, marked me up and talked through last minute details (just checking size etc) and I forgot to bring my consent form back!! I started panicking thinking I wouldn’t be allowed surgery but thank god he had a copy I could sign! oooops….!

About 10mins after that, the drug guy come in (can’t spell or say the proper name hahahah) and he was sooooooo lovely!

About an hour after that, the nurse come in and went through details with me, took height and weight and gave me my sexeh knickers.

She said Mr F was just finishing up one surgery and that there’s one more girl in front of me and that I’d be looking at going down in about an hour.

It was about 1.30pm when I finally went down and the theatre staff were awesome, kept me occupied whilst they put the canula in and all I remember is that that bit didnt hurt but the GA going into my body did.. I remember saying owwww that hurts as it went up my arm and the nurse said yes it can hurt and that was it!

Next thing I know, I’m waking up, can hardly talk because I’m so out of it and remember having my bra on and thinking wow how did they do that? lol

Then I must have dropped off again because next thing I know, I’m being woken up in my room and apparently they’d been trying to wake me up for 3 or 4 minutes! Mr F was there and he said everything went beautifully and he was very happy with how it went. He said my bra is a little small (have a Macom and it’s stretched to the limit I think!) but other than that, he was very happy with everything.

I was bought some water, tea and toast and gobbled that down! A couple of hours later I was bought a 3 course meal and it was lovely!

I’ve been cat napping all afternoon but now feel fantastic! I was meant to be a night case but have decided to go home tonight. I can go at 8pm so just typing this whilst I wait.

I am SO SO SO happy with my boobs and cannot praise Mr Fallahdar enough! He is such a lovely man and a brilliant surgeon.

I’ve taken a few pics but dont have the leads with me to upload, I’ll do it when I get home or tomorrow.

I was a 32c/30d before and god knows what I am now! Lol.. Can tell from them already that they’re gonna drop and settle into such a lovely and natural shape and I’m fairly confident that the size is right but I’ll review that once the swellings gone down haha!

did the GA really hurt? im petrified of needles and pain lol and when i had my caesarean i remember the canular really hurting and when they put stuff in it i felt a stinging sensation as it went through my body, how long did it hurt for? god im such a wimp lol xx

anyways congrats on the new boobies! im so glad u r happy with the results and its so nice to hear good things about mya. what size do you have and did you have unders or overs?xxx

Hey hun, no the GA didn’t really hurt – it was more shock that I could feel it! The cannula didn’t hurt, the guy was so gentle.

The pain from the GA lasted seconds – it was weird, like something too big trying to squeeze through my veins but seriously, it wasn’t pain pain – I think it was more shock then anything else. It lasted as long as me saying “ow that hurts!” and then I was off.

I had 380cc high profile overs and thank you xx

Aw Helen, isn’t it so strange that we’ve both been there today? hehe, Mr F is just amazing, I honestly cannot praise him enough.

ALL the staff there were so so lovely and nothing is too much for them – made me feel so special, I don’t think I’ve ever said ‘thank you so much’ that many times in my life! Lol xx
