I may need to re-schedule my opp :'o( Please help!

Im due to have my BA opp on Tuesday morning & today came down with really bad cold, sore throat, high temperature etc…

I phoned hospital & was told if I still unwell on Tuesday surgeon will not operate ‘cos if you have infection in your body then wound may get infected etc…

Im soo worried now! 😥 it took me years to get the courage to get it booked, I’ve took 2 weeks off work, arranged childcare ect…

Please help I have 3 days to get read of my cold/flu! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Get lots of rest take vitamin C and paracetamol to get your temp down. Really hope you can have it and get better very soon iv been weak just over an hour now had a really good experience xxx

Vitamin C and echinacea and pain killers and fluids.. Sometimes though you gotta let these things take their course.. But it is 3 days away, fingers, toes and everything crossed you are over it by Tuesday!! Big Love hunny xxxxxx

I just phoned out of hours doctor & was told if I come over to hospital they will prescribe antibiotics.. Do you think I will be allowed to take them? x

Hope you get better soon! I’d double check if you’re allowed to take them first. I went to the pre op today and she was telling me that your note allowed to take certain tablets up to two weeks before..x

I’ve e-mailed the plastic surgeon on one of other forums & he just got to me saying that its safe to take antibiotics before the surgery.. Hopefully with the help I will recover by Tuesday! Please keep your fingers crossed for me. xx

Hi roxanne, my op got cancelled on wed, because I had a high temperature and blood and and infection in my urine, unknown to be as I felt fine on the day! My surgeon refused to carry out my Andes there was increased risk of infection and problems, and sent me home with antibiotics. I’ve to go back to the hosp on Monday for checks and if my test come back fine I’m allowed to have my op on wed. Hope this helps, and I hope your better for Tuesday. I was gutted wen I was sent home but mya will accommodate you if you are unwell cos it’s obvs not ur fault. Good luck Hun xxxx

If I can’t have it on tuesday I will have to move till at least till August because I won’t be able to get time of work etc… i would be gutted too! xx

Dissolvable vit C and paracetamol regularly should do the trick xx

Omg August that’s ages away! Could u not try and get a sickline? My work have been great with me, they let be cum back to work so I can take the following week off. Fingers crossed ur better, it will be horrible having to wait til August xxxx
