I was told unders cos of being small- I was told you’d prob be able to see implant to much if I was given overs. Apparently unders tend to be more painful following up cos of messing around with the muscle..?? I wasn’t given the option.xx

    Oh Noooooooo…..this is my dilemma too!! Overs/Unders, HP/LP, D/DD!!!!! Im sooooo confused!! x Im a 34A! x

Hi Skybird. I don’t really come on here anymore but I had my op in April. I had the choice of size and overs or unders. I was a 32a and also wanted D/DD and went for 410 unders in the end and never looked back.

I stressed for months about unders or overs but all I can say is weigh up the pro’s and cons of both. Write them down and it should help x

If in doubt, see your surgeon again and ask him what he thinks is best x

    Pro’s of Unders:

    Less chance of cc.

    Less chance of bottoming out.

Less chance of sagging later in life.

    Easier to detect breast cancer.

Don’t need to massage as much as the muscle does it for you.

“Appearently” according to surgeon more natural looking.

    Cons:

More painful (If you haven’t had a ba before then you won’t know the difference anyway).

    Longer to heal.

Don’t get as much of a clevage as overs as muscle is holding it.

This may help as it made my decision easier xxx :D

I had same dilema, i seen 3 surgeons..one advied overs coz i have loose skin and that would fill it better, and 2 said unders, it would still fill loose skin..and one of them said if i went with first guy it would have been a disaster coz im too thin on top to have overs, you would see the rippling and edge of implant very easily…i think it really just depends on your shape but for me im glad its unders coz theres less interferance with mamograms and bfeeding etc, and id be devetated if i got bad rippling xxx

well i have no tissue, so unders it is xx

    Menu

I think mine have to go over because I have horrible tubular ish boobies (if you can call them that) at the mo! xx

    Menu

ye go for under then…google rippling and see how bad it looks! My friend had unders and still gets a brill cleaveage xxx

    Menu

I am terrified of rippling now!!! ohhhh nooo :‘( I can only afford to do this once!!!

    Menu

aww cupcakes, ask ur surgeon bout it…Anatomicals dnt ripple and u get diff kinds of filling some more cohesive than others that doesnt cause as much ripples, and it depends on ur shape too, im just really boney at my boobs the skins really thin and thats why it would be bad for me, but u could be totally diff! dnt worry about it, if ur surgeons good enough it will be fine xxx
