Ill two days before op :(

Ughh so I’ve woken up this morning with a cold.

Sniffles and a cough. Called my PC and they might not be able to operate.

I dont even feel TOOO bad, but apparently Dr G wont operate if you are even a tiny bit unwell.

My operations first thing on Thursday – absolutely gutted!

Anybody else gone through the same thing?

Hey, i had to cancel my ba last week due to cold and urine infection and im now in this fri.fingers crossed you’ll be ok hun and if not they don’t make you wait to long for another date xx

Oh no so sorry to hear this! Getting ill was my biggest worry in the run up. I’ve got 4 children and always have other kids over too so often end up ill and I was so paranoid. I hope your recovered in time for Thursday. Take some vitamin c and echinea, may speed up recovery. If fact while I was writing this the school just rang to get me to pick my 5 year old up as she’s ill xxx

Oh no, Im having my reop friday and sunday I came over with a really bad cold!!!! x

Woke up with cold and bad chest too my op isn’t til next week but when I get cold I get it for a long time xx

Lots of rest, lots of lemsip and lots of vitamin c! Xx

I’m not allowed to take any vitamins, something to do with it effecting your blood and could make you bleed more. SO I’m armed with a carton of orange juice on my desk at work!

I have no idea what to do, it’s not getting any worse, and I dont feel ill, just got the sniffles and a bit of a frog in my throat now. Nobody at work is noticing I’m ill unless I tell them. Maybe the surgery can go ahead if it doesnt get any worse. Fingers crossed!!!

UGH I cant believe it. I never get ill so it is just sooo typical!

i wasnt well on the day of my op but to be honest i didnt even care if the chances are dying lol i just wanted it done waited long eough couldnt wait anymore esp as my op was canceled 2 days before. so made out i was fine and it all went fine! but obviously do what u feel is best and try eat healthly x

Ive told my PC, but I just texted her letting her know I’m feeling better – which I am. I dont think they will cancel the whole surgery just for a bit of a sniffle!!

I dont even think Dr G will notice!!

I’m gonna eat a load of fruit tonight so hopefully that helps .. what was wrong with you before your op?

It was a poxy cold coming on, felt really ill as well, i just ate fruit and drank loads of orange juice, and made sure i stayed in my room all day like a freak, im sure if u dont sound like u got a cold they wont even notice, if u do just dont talk ha xx

haha yeah i dont sound like it, seriously no body is noticing, and i dont feel ill either just tired!

wish i could just stay in bed all day tomorrow, early night for me tonight!

how are you getting on now? are you loving your new look? not spoken to you in a while!!
