ill :(

i had my op last tuesday when i came round i felt dizzy but i put it down to the anaesthetic but three days on an i still feel dizzy.

is this normal?

anyone else had it?

Have you rung the nurse honey and explained how you feel,perhaps she could put your mind at rest.xxx

she rung me the day after i told her she said i might feel like it for a couple of days but i thought id feel better by now xxx

Hi hun, I still felt really dizzy a few days after – I think its the medication. I’m a week post op today and have finished my course of anti biotics and feel fine xx

Give it time girls,might not feel like it now,but it will be worth it.xxx

i was exactly the same, i just put it down to the cocodamol and ibuprofen, so i stopped taking it on day 2 as i had no pain and switched to paracetamol and it gradually got better, i now feel fine, it stopped about monday which meant 5 days po. it gets better xx

I stopped taking the pain relief and anti inflammitries day 3 too because everything was making me feel sick and dizzy! Just stick with the anti biotics and paracetamol and stay in bed until the 5 day course is up xxx

Drink lots of water hun xx

hi hun, have to be honest I felt sick and spaced out for nearly 3 weeks…then just woke up one morn and it had gone…don’t be alarmed if it last’s a while everyone handles the medication different.. I did find that inhaling olbas oil really cleared my head too

i felt ill from the anesthetic for about 2 days.

then the pain killers made me drowsy and tired and dizzy! as they told me to take 2 co-codamol and a iburofen together and it knocked me out.

if you are taking painkillers try just taking the ibruprofen. this is what i did and i was fine after i stopped the concoction of drugs!

just relax and lazy about. dont push yourself too hard xx
