i'm 6 weeks post op and thought I was healing really well until……

I noticed the corner of my left scar which is the one that u can just see a tiny little stitch is all red and inflamed a little bit like a blood blister only there is a tiny hole which was oozing blood and pus when I squeezed it, its quite sore and i’m a bit worried that I now have the start of an infection. I have cleaned it with antiseptic wipes and I am hoping that it clears up quickly as I am going on holiday on saturday, what do u think I should do girls??

Hey hun. Im sure this happened to nikki on here shes fine now. Have u any steris to cover it? Phone the nurse hun for peace of mind. Sure its nout t worry bout tho hun xx

your totally right fairy this happened to me and ive been fine its acually happened to me 3 times once at 5 weeks, 6 weeks and again at 8 weeks, the nurse told me it was fine and really common, didnt need to keep it covered or anything and i was allowed to wear bras, the holes took a few days to heal but now they have gone and my scars are healing well, i def wounldn’t worry xx
