Im 6 weeks today – where the hell did that go??!!

Don’t have my check up with the nurse until 12th November tho. Does anyone know if I can put anything on my scars yet or am I better off waiting to be told? Also, can I rid of the sports bra and wear a normal one?? x

hiya tracy i cant believe we are 6 wks today, i went to see the nurse last night and she said i can wear normal bras now, i forgot to ask her about massaging and putting stuff on my scars tho so im gonna email her later to ask. i got measured and im a 34dd/e cant believe it and they look huge in a bra and clothes now im well chuffed.

we can get rid of these sports bras now hun woop lol have u got measured yet and bought bras? xxx

Jealous! I’m only 6 days PO and I can’t wait to get measured and wear nice bras again! At the moment I can’t even wear my sports bras as they hurt. I need to get measured so I can get the right one. Hope you are enjoying your new boobies xx

I haven’t had an official measure yet. But…. I had a sneaky measure in Debehams last week and came out confused! Pre-op I always wore a 34b. The lady in Debenhams said I was a 32 back and brought me a 32dd bra, which fit!!

So just find it very confusing. I’ll prob go somewhere else tomorrow and get measured.

yeah defo go somewhere else hun, i went to la senza and they measured me 34dd i went to ann summers and was a 34e in some of their bras couldnt believe it lol. xx

i had a sneaky measure too at 3 weeks post op and in la senza she said i was a 36dd, i tried my mates 34e on and it felt fine too, dont really fancy been a 36 back but ive started my diet so fingers crossed lol! x

Thanks Hun and yours are bigger than mine lol, they got some lush bras about I can’t stop shopping I’ve spent over 100 on bras in the last week it’s fab xx
