im a day case n stayin in a near by hotel do you????

go back to the hospital in the mornin to b checked or do they prefer u just to stay close by in case anythin was to b wrong??x

its just incase anything happens overnight hun x

U don’t have to stay close by aslong as ur not hours an hours away it’s fine, people told me it aftercare is void if u don’t stay close by which is aload of rubbish. I was discharged at 4pm an went straight home, was quite uncomfortable the morning after so being at home was better for me instead of a hotel an having to travel home the next day wouldn’t of been nice x

im about 2 2 n ahalf hours away from hosp would u recommend stayin in hotel or do u think i will b ok to go home??. also the day after my op its london marathon day n i rele dnt wish to b stuck in traffic etc x

I live about an hour n a half away from highgate if I was u I’d go home but if hour worried about having to go back in an emergency then maybe you should stay but I personally would go home the chances of anything happening are so slim an they will only discharge you if your well enough I was fine an discharged about 4 hours earlier then most day cases! X
