im a worried little fairy

So i had my post op 6 day check today…

I still have steri strips on as the nurse said my scars are knitted together lovely but are a bit raw on the sides of the left one.

Now i have to go back in another week to check my scars again… Cant shower properly till then!!

Nurse thinks id done too much…i washed my own hair etc!!

Im.really worried even though the nurse said its fine

awww try not to worry fairy, just make sure you give yourself a bit longer time to heal and you’ll be fine hunni. It is so easy to over do it, especially when you feel so good, but you have to remember that you have had surgery, that’s why they say to be very careful for the first 6 weeks or so. It’s great that your scars are tiny and neat tho Take care x

Youll be fine hun!! I alwas worry. Nurse said the scars were all together and closed.they were just a bit raw. I think they are wary in case u get an infection i have no signs of ifection which is phhhhewwww a relief!! Xx

Take it easy chuck. I’ve been washing my own hair too but been doing little else. It’ll be worth the wait, I’m sure. And they’ll be mega healed in a week’s time! x

dont worry, i had tape on for 1 week, then steri strips on for 3-4 days and then i got told to take them off myself!!! its just to keep the scars together and help them heal xx

I saw the nurse at 7 days, and then i had the steri strips on and she said to just take them off myself after another 4 days, same as Sara. You’ll be fine hunni x

ive got nurse tomorrow ive washed my hair and prob been doing a bit more than i should one scare is realy painful hope its going to be ok id be happy to go back every week fairy to make sure all ok i suppose thats why they say it takes 6 weeks to heal just think you’ll have pics up in a few weeks in all your sexy bras xxx

I was in coffee shop next to crown court today and a lil pretty young barrister came in with all her files and made me think of u!! Hehe.

I worry bot eberything ticky honestly im a nightmre. I was like mam she said im not healing, me mam.goes.for.god sake listen she didnt say that she said ur scars are closed but.still a bit raw lol xxx

I’m 13 days post op now and had my tape removed on thursday…the nurse put fresh steri strips on and sent me home with steri strips which i changed myself yesterday…after speaking to the nurse today, she wants me to go in on saturday so she can check my scars are healing ok…I was a bit worried about her wanting to see me again but i think i will feel better once i have…i will be 17 days post op on saturday…i had an uplift and implants so i guess i will take longer to heal xxx

Dont worry fairy, i couldn’t shower and remove steri strips until day 18 lol. My right scar is flat but my left side is raised, think that must be from doing too much too early and pulling muscle early on :(xx

Hey sam hunni. Thanks for that. My scars are l flat totally…just a little bit raw whatever that means. Just hope they are better by next week. Think mya like to cover themselves aswell incase i get infection xx

Sam i’m so glad you posted…i’m 14 days po today and still covered in steri strips…i was getting scared to0 as everyone seems to have their dressings removed a lot sooner…one of my scars feels raised too, hopefully on saturday when i see the nurse again they may come off xx

Fairy I’m worried about mine left scar as well.. What does the scar look like?.. My right is healing better than my left. The left looks healed but I still have a fine dark line running across…???.. Does that mean it’s not healed properly..?.. I’m just reaching 4weeks po xx
