I'm cancelling..

As the title suggests I cant take the stress of this and I have decided to cancel and think about my options and I think I will be going with a surgeon outside of MYA. I just feel this is the best decision for me, I never felt right with Mr Traynor and after Mr Russo was suspended I just felt that its not meant to be with MYA. I dont want to be seeing surgeon after surgeon and have to travel miles to do all that so I’m back to the drawing board. So devasted as it felt so right with Mr Russo… I just need to get my deposit back and I wont back down on that cos at the end of the day I have paid for a service that cannot be provided to me and I have paid £500 and no longer have a surgeon or a date so what exactly have I paid for?? If MYA refuse they will have a fight on their hands!! My pc was great and I will miss her support but I cant choose a company based on the pc it needs to be for the surgeon.

Why has Russo been suspended! This makes me nervous. Maybe instead of kicking people of the forum mya mod should let us know what’s what!! I hope you manage to find another surgeon you trust. Personally I think they should refund your £500 as it wasn’t your fault. Maybe ask citizens advice what they think about it? Xx

Im in the same boat I’ve been reassured I’ll get my deposit back by my pc if after I’ve seen mr traynor n he’s not right for me as I was seein Russo but not Now obv wit him bein suspended.. Although they keep tellin me not to worry bout my money?? Don’t worry it’s safe etc well all I’ll say is if I don’t get it back there will be hell on cause my bloke payed it n he’s payin other half for my noobs n it’s comin out are wedding fund pot that I’m payin back so the last thing I want is to loose. 500 n end up paying more, hopefully they will stick to there word x

I think its a good decision….MYA are not really making the effort with customer care! Make sure you are 100% comfortable wherever you go! xx

My pc has been great and is getting my refund sorted this week. As I said I am devastated that all this has happened but it needs to be right for me to go through with surgery and spend £6000 of my boyfriends money!!

5stonedown.. I am exactly on the same boat as you! The difference is that I have paid for everything… since my op with Mr. Russo was booked for July 5th! I only found out about Mr Russo last night when I logged on to MYA for a quicl look just before going out, and I have to say it ruined my night out! I have been sooo looking forward to my op… and now with Mr. Russo suspended I am not sure I can be bothered to go through it all over again, new consultation with new doc.. etc.. and my PC has not even contacted me to inform about Mr. Russo suspension.

I am so dishearted and disappointed…

Hope you get things sorted typa75. MYA do have other surgeons who are more than capable of getting you a great result but for me I had to make the decision to cancel.

there are other really good surgeons other than Mario, I had Marion Grob and i am over the moon with my results…
