Yeah same I’ve been reading through everything to see what he’s like haha! In my initial consultation she said that all surgeons were great so I’m not worrying about that, would just love to see some photos of his work maybe! Xxx

Hi! My op isn’t until a couple of weeks yet, but from meeting him I can say that he is a lovely man and made me feel like I was in great hands. I’ve read a lot about him having very neat scars and he was intent on understanding exactly what I wanted to achieve before he made any recommendations which was really nice and reassuring. He is very quick but still thorough. He knows what he’s doing! Happy to share photos of his work once I’ve had my op! I’m having a BA too x

I had my consulatation with him on Thursday and was really nervous before seeing him but he was lovely & I came out feeling really good about it all & really pleased I’ve got him. From looking at reviews of him all are really positive too. I’ve got my op on the 26th of this month xx

Why wouldn’t they Katie? I’m having a nightmare getting an ECG sorted as I had a funny heartbeat at my preop but hopefully that all goes well! Hope yours went well Clare! I’m stuck between sizes too, wish there was a magic one size fits all implant that gives you exactly what you want! x

Oh also Mounir question – Does anyone know if he uses strapping or not? Or is it just dependent on the person? x

@SJ you have no idea how happy that’s made me! I wanna be able to nose at them asap, too impatient for itchy strapping haha! Yeah my friend said she never had her pulse taken either which is strange.. to be honest I hate pulses etc so I was nervous when she did it which probably made it go funny.. I’ve done ECGs on myself for non medical stuff at uni too and I’ve never seen anything on the graph to worry myself with though so I’m not too worried! xx

He doesn’t use drains Hun or strapping. He’s unbelievable, he’s known for his neat work and very small scars. I can’t fault him, he’s made my boobs look bloody amazing to be honest! Everyone who’s had him says he’s a genius and so precise xxx

@Jenni I had a pulmonary embolism last year and the nurse said she wasn’t able to pick up a clear pulse at my pre op so I have to have an ECG done (I went to the gp for them to check and they said there wasn’t a problem so fingers crossed)
Have your GPs agreed to arrange your ECG mine wouldn’t as it’s for elective surgery so I have to pay 🙁 xx

My ECG is booked for tomorrow.. How much did you have to pay Katie? I haven’t mentioned it’s for elective surgery so I reallllllly hope they don’t probe. I said it’s for breast surgery though. It’s not my regular practice as I’m at home with my parents for Easter so hoping I get away with it! Thanks though Katie! Glad I’m not the only one, mine was the exact same, my pulse just wasn’t clear and regular enough! I’m adding you all, hope you don’t mind haha! xx

Oops but in answer to your question.. my Leeds (normal) GP agreed to send me for one for free.. but it’s a student medical practice so they’re pretty easy going. My GP has a bright pink stethoscope, a rhinestone encrusted wrist support thing and was probably more excited for me than I was haha! Massive difference with this GP at home in a small town though, they seem much more reserved here, not looking forward to it really!

£65 for the ECG, the doctors knew as the MYA nurse had sent them through the information 🙁 as long as everything is fine I don’t mind but will be a bit annoying if I have to postpone when I’ve booked time of work 🙁 xx

Ahh that’s so annoying! Well as I said I’m having it at a different practice than my usual so hopefully they wont know. In fact I’m not sure if upcoming surgeries are on medical records so I’m hoping they don’t ask enough questions to find out it’s cosmetic! I wouldn’t worry about postponing! My friend is a nurse and I was talking to her about it, she says they have people with funny heartbeats under general all the time, they just want an ECG so the anesthetist can keep an extra eye on what’s normal for you etc 🙂

I’m not sure if they write to everyone’s gp for medical history or whether they wrote to mine because they’re concerns :/ oh good! It seems like forever since I booked it! Good luck with yours 😀 xx
